CURRENTLY LOOKING TO HIRE UP TO THREE NEW INSTRUCTORS TO TEACH PRIVATE LESSONS AND POSSIBLY CLASSES FOR 2023-24 SEASON (SEPT. - MAY.)
Allegro School of Music is looking to hire up to three new instructors to teach private lessons and possibly classes for the 2023-24 Season (Sept.-May). Candidates must have a music degree or be in the process of earning a music degree from an accredited college or university. Preference will be given to candidates with at least one year of teaching experience and whose primary instrument is piano, violin, guitar, percussion, or voice. Candidates with experience teaching other instruments will also be considered with ability to teach multiple instruments a plus. Those hired may also potentially have the option to serve as Office Assistants.
Compensation based on education, experience & other factors and begins at $22-26/hour for new private instructors with opportunities for future pay increases. Candidates must be able to commit to the 2023-24 Season (Sept.-May) & Summer Session 2024 (June-Aug.) and be available for lessons on one or more weekday afternoons and evenings at our Main Studio in NE Grand Rapids, South Studio in Kentwood, or possibly other locations.
